Just checked and saw my last entry in June. Hmm thats a while ago. Suggested reasons for my severe lack of blogging includes:
1- A very unsensational series of nonevents occuring in the interim
2 - Laziness + forgetfullness + sudden bouts of internet lacking-ness
3 - Dried up imagination as a result of soul-sapping exposure to rat race
I will need to get into the habit of blogging more often again. If anything, in order to stop the rot and rebel against the mass opinion that when someone begins to work, things become less interesting (quite true) and theres less to blog about (sorta true but can be defied by concentrating less on the events of the week, and more about the musings swishing about in my crevice that is my skull).
Things that have happened in my blogdom absence:
- Went to Hong Kong and Singapore for holiday, attempted to butter-up Singapore expat in order to secure future transfer prospects for myself.
- Changed jobs (but not rotation), am now responsible for regionalising global affirmation hubs for derivative products. Its OK, you don't have to pretend to care.
- Have turned down at least ten different roles for a 2nd rotation. They all make a monkey out of me. Sooner or later i'll have to choose..gulp.
- Moved flats - now live in Canada Water. The flat is certainly smaller so felt a bit of a downgrade at first. But the areas safer and i've had the promise of a hamster included in the contract. Woo!
Xmas has also come and gone - a very low key affair this year but enjoyed being at home and dithering as i have done for most of my childhood.
I shall save some New Year Resolutions for my next blog!
